ABOUT Our Town

 

Willow Lake, South Dakota is a great little town! We may be small in numbers, but we're mighty when it comes to what matters -- school spirit, community pride, and our never-give-up attitude.

 

The town of Willow Lake is located in southern Clark County, four miles west of SD Hwy 25 on SD Hwy 28. We're one of those "little towns on the prairie," established in 1883 by pioneers who came West looking for land & opportunity. We are proud of our heritage and optomistic about our future!

Along with our neighbors in Carpenter and Vienna, our three towns and all the rural folks in between make up the Willow Lake School District. We're proud of our excellent K-12 school (Go Pirates! Go Cyclones!) and the quality, well-rounded education our students receive.
